Q: How much do I pay for my website design, church content, and online training?
A: Nothing.
Q: Are there any monthly fees?
A: Yes, a hosting fee of $15 per month and you can cancel anytime. In addition there is an annual $25 fee for your domain name. At the time of placing your order, you will only pay the 1st month’s hosting fee of $15 and your $25 annual domain fee. There is also a one-time admin fee of $225. There are no other hidden fees to get your website up and running.
Q: How long do I have to pay for?
A: Hosting is paid monthly ($15 per month), but you can cancel your website at anytime. If you would like to pay a year in advance there is additional savings. ($165 per year saving $15) and for two years ($325 two years saving $35).
Q: Do I get to keep my existing URL (http://www.churchname.com)?
A: You may keep your existing URL or request a new one from us.
Q: If we don’t already have a URL, how much is that going to cost?
A: The cost to register your URL is $25 for the first year and then to renew is $25 per year.
Q: Do you have URL’s, that don’t cost $25 a year?
A: Yes, we have the URL (http://www.lutheranweb.net) We can create a sub URL (http://www.churchname.lutheranweb.net) and there is no annual domain fee.
Q: What are the charges to make changes to our website?
A: The websites have a CMS (Content Management System) that allows you with a little training, make all of the changes you want to your websites. This includes adding media (pictures, documents, sound recordings and video), church newsletters, create pages and blog posts.
Q: What are the charges if you make changes to our website?
A: If you prefer we can make a reasonable number of changes (4) per month for you including posting your newsletter, however, there is an additional monthly charge of $5. Installing a photo album or gallery is $5 each with a limit of 15 pictures per album or gallery. Other additions or subtractions for a nominal fee.
